Project background and information

We invited feedback from the community on the redevelopment of Glover Playground East, located in Ityamai-itpina (Park 15) to inform the design of Glover Playground East and the surrounding areas of Ityamai-itpina (Park 15).

Glover Playground East in Ityamai-itpina (Park 15) has been highlighted for renewal due the equipment nearing the end of its useful asset life. The existing playground equipment is to be decommissioned and the new playspace is to be more integrated into the surrounding Park Lands. The decommissioned playground equipment will be replaced with nature play elements, open space, new equipment, new planting and additional amenities.

The renewal of Glover Playground East Ityamai-itpina (Park 15) is an opportunity to revitalise the play opportunities to the east of the Central Business District (CBD).
