    Council is committed to community engagement and endorsed the Community Engagement Strategy in 2012. To support embedding community engagement across Council a Champion program was developed to increase staff capacity and support organisational change.

    Champion forum
    The forum for current Community Engagement Champions was held at the end of 2015 to provide an opportunity to discuss and identify needs and support/training for 2016 and to provide a networking opportunity between champions. 13 (46%) current champions attended.
    It was identified that while the over whelming requirement is for training, regular communication to champions to keep them informed of internal and external opportunities and updates to engagement tools/documents is important.

    Pre-forum survey on Your Say Adelaide (YSA)
    A pre forum survey was developed to identify the experience and confidence of current champions and to identify the use of Adelaide City Council workshops/ tools.

    Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey. It should not take more than 10 minutes.
    The information collected will be used to provide an overall picture of our current champions. We will present this report at the champion workshop on Wednesday December 9. Your responses will remain totally confidential and the information will be reported in a general manner with no identifying information.
