Planning Reform Update

Council, at its meeting on 25 July 2017, considered an update report regarding implementing planning reform. As part of this consideration, Council decided to:

  1. Approve the intended next steps (See Attachment A here).
  2. Authorise the CEO to advise the State Planning Commission of Council’s preparedness to partner in a Collaborative Work Program with DPTI to establish appropriate policy and decision-making arrangements as part of the new South Australian Planning System.
  3. Endorse an update to the City of Adelaide Planning System Guiding Principles.
