The Adelaide City Bike Art Trail will be launched on Sunday 30 June.
Take a free tour and meet the artists along the trail or self-guide your way between 10am and 2pm. Bowen Street outside Bike SA will form a central hub and be the starting point to pick up a bike, have a coffee and be greeted with the unexpected bicycles by The Tongue of Fire.

All attendees on the day will go in the draw to win a family pass to the Adelaide Zoo or the Adelaide Festival Theatre.

The trail is a partnership project between Adelaide City Council and State Government through Arts SA.

The Adelaide City Bike Art Trail project is in full gear with seven artists chosen to provide new cyclist-friendly sculptures rolling into 11 spots around Adelaide’s CBD and North Adelaide.
Minister Assisting the Minister for Arts Chloë Fox said the commissioned artists and teams are:
- glass specialists Deb Jones and Christine Cholewa
- sculptor Michelle Nikou
- the Groundplay team of Greg Healey and Gregg Mitchell, part of the trio behind the Custart public artwork on the Lion Arts Centre in Adelaide’s West End
- designer Karl Meyer
- landscape architect and artist Tanya Court.
Ms Fox said the Adelaide City Bike Art Trail brings together some of our city’s most creative local talent.
