More free activities such as group training or boxing in the Parklands? Even if you had to pay a small fee would still be good! Also perhaps running or cycling groups?

An outdoor rollerskating track for Roller Derby, as well as development of the old ice skating rink on Hindley Street as an indoor skating track.

A large cement outdoor Rollerskating rink with shadecloth would be fantastic for all the different rollerskating groups (In Line Hockey, Speed Skating, Artistic Skating & Roller Derby) plus those people who just want to skate socially.

An outdoor rink for people who rollerskate in general would be absolutely great. This outdoor rink could also be utilised by the States current rollerskaters in Artistic, Hockey, Speed, Roller Derby, but the community in general, schools, school holiday programs and events in the parklands. This would encourage fitness for any age and fun in general.

Running/walking tracks with good lighting and safety measures (e.g. CCTV, emergency phones) to encourage people to make use of the parklands for exercise. A series of walking/running loops could be set up throughout the parklands with distance markers and particpants could submit their best times to a website - could link in the with corporate cup etc.More clubs should be able to have permanent facilities on the parklands. If club have good changing and social facilities, they will help ensure that the surrounds are kept neat and tidy and ensure that the playing fields are kept to a good standard and available for use by the greater population.
