What is the Austral East End Street Party NYE 2023?
The Austral East End Street Party NYE 2023 is a new event proposed by The Austral Hotel to attract people to the East End and support local trade in the precinct this New Year’s Eve.
The event proposal includes that there would be a music presentation with a stage facing East on Rundle Street or a stage facing North on Bent Street. There would also be a bar service point on road and other supporting event infrastructure on the roads for patron comfort. The proposed event times are 5pm on Sunday 31 December 2023 – 12:30am on Monday 1 January 2024.
How will stakeholders be notified of this event?
All residents and businesses residing in the surrounding area will be notified of the proposed event via a letterbox drop. Included in the letter will be details of expected impacts such as music levels and road closure details and an event hotline telephone number.
