In 2021 Adelaide had 25,026 residents living in 14,649 dwellings, an average of 1.8 people per household (ABS Census). North Adelaide (postcode 5006) had 6,823 residents living in 3,569 dwellings and Adelaide (postcode 5000) had 18,202 residents living in 11,085 dwellings. 

The City of Adelaide Strategic Plan 2024-2028 has a target to increase the city population to 50,000 people by 2036. 

We need more housing for this growth.  

Where are the opportunities for more housing in the City of Adelaide?
