City Skate Park Consultation Update

Consultation on the design of the proposed City Skate Park has begun.

Convic, an internationally renowned specialist skate park designer, is working with us and the City Skate Advisory Group see below) to prepare the design for the new skate park.

On 14 November Convic is leading two community workshops at the Minor Works Building in Stamford Court to get your ideas for the design for the new skate facility.

City Skate Advisory Group - Update

Following the call for nominations for the City Skate Advisory Group, we are pleased to advise that the following people have been selected to participate in the City Skate Advisory Group:

  • Andy Walker
  • Evan Dalziell
  • Geoff Barclay
  • Glen Little
  • Josh Smith
  • Matt Hodgson
  • Michael Harris-Walker
  • Reb Rowe

The City Skate Advisory Group are working with us and Convic to provide guidance and advice on the engagement, design and development of the new City Skate Park at Gladys Elphick Park / Narnungga (Park 25). The Group met in October 2019 to inspect the site and discuss the next steps of the project.
