Why do we need a City Community Strategy?

The City Community Strategy is an important document. It outlines the key directions, activities, services and programs that Council will undertake to achieve it's vision of 'a city for everyone'. The Strategy aims to address issues such as equity and accessibility. It also includes the role of libraries, community centres and neighbourhood development. Read our fact sheets in the document library to learn more.

    What happens to my feedback?

Your feedback will be used to help inform the development of the new City Community Strategy. Other workshops for staff and community organisations have also been conducted so we can listen to a broad range of views and opinions. The draft strategy will be available for final comment before it is finalised.
