Future Consultations

City of Adelaide has received an application from the University of South Australia to close a section of Hindley Street between Liverpool Street and Clarendon Street in to facilitate the safe crossing of University Graduates from both Campuses during the February 2021 graduation ceremonies as follows:

Under the Local Government Act 1999, the City of Adelaide is required to consult the public before it can grant a permit for an event that requests to use a public road for business purposes, and which will require whole or partial road closure(s) that may impede the passage of traffic to a material degree.
