Adult Learners Week: Digital Literacy

Council is hosting a series of events at our Libraries and Community Centres from 1-8 of September for Adult Learners’ Week. This year’s theme is “Learning in a Digital World” and some of the events scheduled include iPad and internet training, online family history services and also 3-D printer Show and Tell. Review the list of activities.

Council is also excited to announce that a new Digital Hub will be launched at Grote Street Library in December 2012. The Hub will provide training in how to use computers and tablets (e.g. iPads), the internet and on-line services, social networking and more; and is funded in partnership with the Australian Government.
