Project update

Following consultation and final design work, constructions works were commenced earlier this year and completed in April 2019. See above and opposite for 'before' and 'after' images of St. Helena Place.


Background and project information

Through our budget process, the City committed to delivering a Streetscape Upgrade in St Helena Place.

The Upgrade will deliver improvements to the street in the form of additional street greening, new trees, widened footpaths, traffic calming, under-grounding of the power lines and overhead power-lines removed, new public lighting, and overall improvements for pedestrian and traffic movements.

Your feedback will contribute towards the development of the final concept design for the layout. Please see below for project information.
