Give us your thoughts on how to best shape our New Years Eve celebrations in the City of Adelaide over the next five years and be in the running to win $150 worth of gift vouchers!
Project background and information
With Fringe season now complete and the city having been abuzz with excitement and vibrancy, our attention is turning to our end of year celebration, New Year’s Eve in the City, for 2022 and beyond.
The cancellation of the 2020 New Year’s Eve (NYE) event and associated fireworks has presented the City of Adelaide with an opportunity to reimagine the event in the future.
New Year's Eve is integral to the city’s festive celebrations. We want to build ownership and support within the community and with key stakeholders as the celebration of New Year's Eve has changed significantly in the past couple of years. We want your thoughts on what these changes mean for you!
To do this the City of Adelaide is seeking to gather feedback from the Adelaide Community on how we should shape our New Year’s Eve celebrations over the next 5 years. We are particular interested in the content people would like to see in a New Year’s Eve celebration in the City.
This engagement provides an opportunity:
For the community and key stakeholder to inform and influence decision making for our 5-year New Year’s Eve Action Plan
to use local knowledge to generate ideas for what a New Year’s Eve event should entail
At the end of this process we aim to incorporate the results of this engagement into our 5-year Action Plan for NYE celebrations (2022-2026).
For more information and the opportunity to provide feedback - see below:
Feedback can be provided by completing the survey here or clicking on the tab below.
You can enter the Prize Draw for $150 of gift vouchers by completing the survey. Terms and conditions are available Here.
Consultation closes 5pm, Friday, 20 May 2022.
