Hutt Street Library - Community Engagement update

We would like to thank all those who participated in this engagement during August 2015!

The key findings of the engagement were:

  • Users visited the library one or more times a week
  • Users preferred an earlier opening time on Saturdays than a later closure on weekdays
  • Evening openings are the least popular, this is supported by statistics which show low evening visits
  • There is a demand for lifelong learning and digital literacy programs such as: Local History, Computers and Internet, Exhibitions, Art & Craft, Health & Wellbeing and Reading & Writing opportunities.
