What are community courts?

Does the project include public toilets?
Yes, public toilets will be provided as part of the upgrade to the park.
What is a community plaza?
The community plaza will be a flexible integrated space for the community to meet. It will be paved with landscaping, seating and shelter. It will include facilities to support pop ups and small community events.
Does the project include a playspace?
The concept does not include a traditional playspace. Play opportunities will be provide through the development of discovery play trails which will meander through the woodland landscape of the park. The discovery trails will have logs and rocks with bridges and climbing opportunities and also include interpretive and art elements to allow children to explore and connect with nature.
Are the sporting ovals currently used for cricket and football part of the park enhancement?
The sporting ovals are currently licenced by the South Australian Cricket Association and are not part of the concept plan development. The sports grounds are available for the general community to use when they are not being used by the licence holders for games or training sessions.
Will the running loop and fitness stations be open to the public when the ovals are being used for cricket and other sporting events?
Yes. All recreation facilities outside the area leased by SACA will be available for use by park users at all times.
