Changes to Parking Controls: Project Update - 25 September 2019

Following the assessment of all feedback submitted to date since the introduction of the North Adelaide Parking Control changes, Council approved a Motion on Notice on 24 September 2019 to:

  • Reinstate the bays which were unrestricted & 10P parking zones adjacent to the Park Lands (approximately 340 parking spaces indicated on the map) as a priority;

  • Advise stakeholders to this effect and provide them with a 28 day period to submit feedback in relation to the current parking controls within their street;
  • Continue to support the relaxed Residential Parking Permit Criteria as detailed in the Committee meeting held on 5 March 2019
  • Honour the 12 month Trial Parking Permits already issued to residents until 30 June 2020; however cease issuing any further Trial Permits.

The North Adelaide Parking Permit Trial has been discontinued due to the Council decision on 24 September 2019.

The 12 month Trial Parking Permits already issued to residents until 30 June 2020 will be honoured; no further Trial Permits will be issued.
