Works: Lighting of the All Dog Park

UPDATE 04 August 2016

The closed section of the North Adelaide Dog Park will open temporarily on Friday 05 August 2016.
It will remain open for the weekend and will then be closed for Monday 08 August and Tuesday 09 August so the installation of the light fittings can occur.
It is planned that the dog park will permanently open again on Wednesday 10 August as works will be complete.

Background

In February 2016 Council approved additional funding for phase 2 of the project to install lighting in the All Dog Park and along the Lefevre Road entrance pathway.

We would like to notify users of the North Adelaide Dog Park about planned improvements to take place from the end of June 2016 through to 22 July 2016.

This project is a result of the feedback you provided, with lighting the number one desired improvement. The provision of lighting for public safety of users will further support community use of the North Adelaide Dog Park specifically after daylight hour usage.

Access to the Dog Park will be limited whilst work is carried out. However, Council aims to ensure one of the parks remains open throughout as an all dog park. Signage informing the community of varying opening times will be placed on all gateway entrances.
