We welcome input from you about the review of the Community Land Management Plan (CLMP) for Tarntanya Wama (Park 26). The CLMP does not cover the Oval itself (the Core Area), but does include Pennington Gardens West, Creswell Gardens, Oval No. 2, Montefiore Hill, Pinky Flat, and Elder Park.

The original CLMP for Tarntanya Wama (Park 26) was adopted by Council in 2009. Since 2009 there have been significant changes to Tarntanya Wama (Park 26) due to the Adelaide Oval redevelopment and construction of the new pedestrian bridge over the River Torrens.

The review of the CLMP for Tarntanya Wama (Park 26) brings it up-to-date to reflect the Adelaide Oval Redevelopment and Management Act 2011 which establishes the way the Oval is managed as a result of the redevelopment including;

  • the endorsed Landscape Master Plan for parts of the Park;
  • on-the-ground changes in the Park as a result of the Oval redevelopment; and
  • changes in the Park due to the construction of the new pedestrian bridge over the River Torrens.
