How will this affect the users of Veale Park / Walyu Yarta?
It is anticipated this lease renewal and the already established uses associated with this business operation will not change the way that this park is used or accessed.
The new lease only seeks to secure a longer tenure for the current lessees who intend to enhance this location through a respectful and complimentary façade upgrade. As currently experienced, the community will continue to benefit from all uses of Veale Park / Walyu Yarta.
There will be no immediate changes seen in this location. There may be small disruptions during the construction phase of the new façade. However, over the term of the lease, The Pavilion will continue to operate as a function centre.
