The new Lease agreement was finalised, and commenced 1 July 2019.

Background

The City of Adelaide has resolved to support a renewed 15-year lease agreement with the current lessees of The Pavilion, Alkyona Pty Ltd, subject to the relevant community consultation being undertaken in accordance with the Local Government Act 1999.

Project Information

The decision to support this long-term lease is to allow the current lessees to secure their business operations and invest in the upgrade of the building located in the southern Adelaide Park Lands.

Alkyona Pty Ltd proposes to undertake alterations to the eastern canopy to significantly improve and complement the appearance of the existing building and improve public safety through CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design) principles.
