Have your say on the application for a City Works Permit for the partial closure of Waymouth Street on 18 August 2018.
Project update

No submissions regarding the application for a city works permit were received. The application for the permit was approved by the administration under delegation and the permit granted.


Project Description

The City of Adelaide (CoA) would like your feedback on an application for a City Works Permit for construction work at the BankSA building, 97 King William Street that will require the closure of:

  • Waymouth Street between King William St and Anster Road, and
  • Waymouth Place, Hall Court and Cordwainers Lane from 6am and 6pm on 18 August 2018.

Background

Under Division 6 (Control of Work on Roads), Section 223 of The Local Government Act (SA)1999, CoA has a legislative requirement to consult the public for a period of 21 days when an application for a City Works Permit is received.

During the consultation period CoA must provide the public with the appropriate information and an opportunity to provide feedback by following the relevant steps set out in its public consultation policy (see page 9, column 14) before granting the authorisation or permit.
