Project Background 

The State Government has engaged an Expert Panel to provide an independent review of South Australia’s planning system.

The planning system changed in March 2021 due to a new approach to planning and new planning legislation.

The City of Adelaide asked for community feedback to inform a response to the Expert Panel.

Submissions for feedback closed 13 January 2023.

Your responses helped to inform the City of Adelaide’s Planning System Implementation Review submission, which was endorsed by Council at their meeting on 31 January 2023 and submitted to the State Government appointed Expert Panel on 1 Feb 2023.

Copies of the City of Adelaide Submission and the Community Survey summary report are included on this page.
