Consultation has concluded.

We are conducting our third annual Resident Survey to find out more about the people who live in Adelaide (5000) or North Adelaide (5006).

Your responses will be used to help shape the services, program and activities delivered by the City of Adelaide. This includes informing content of the 2022-2023 Business Plan and Budget. The Survey is long (it will take about 40 minutes to do every question), but it is structured so that fewer questions than ever before are 'mandatory'.

Don't forget to enter the draw to WIN one of ten $100 debit cards!

The responses received to the 2020 Resident Survey supported the City of Adelaide to improve service delivery and track our progress. This included:

  • helping to inform the activities for waste and resource recovery being rolled out over the next 3-5 years
  • informing the ongoing review of what sustainability incentives to offer residents
  • helping to shape a workshop offering to start in September 2021, providing residents with ways to be green at home.
  • helping to position marketing for our community activities, and the Sustainability incentives, by understanding residents’ environment choices
  • gathering data and insights to support the Wellbeing Dashboard, the Dynamic City Arts & Culture Dashboard, the 2020-2024 Strategic Plan and the Safer City Action Plan.

The 2021 Resident Survey:

  • includes most of the questions on wellbeing and community connectedness used in previous years
  • has a new section about main streets so that we can better inform Mainstreet Revitalisation Programs for Hindley Street, Hutt Street, Melbourne Street and O’Connell Street
  • has new questions about the Adelaide Park Lands with a particular focus on the Western Park Lands
  • removes a couple of the demographic questions that we realised we do not use the data from and do not need to ask you.

It is intended that you only complete this survey once.

If you need assistance to register as a Your Say Adelaide participant, please read this handy guide here.

We know that this survey is very long. To help you with this we have reduced the number of questions that are marked with an asterix (*) as mandatory. There are a couple of sections within the survey where you can choose to answer as many or as few of the questions in them as you wish. All of your answers are important to us and the various areas of Council's business (our community facing services) do make use of the information we get from our residents through this survey. Please do as much of the survey as you are able to.

Good luck, and please enter the prize draw it is our way to thank you for taking the time to do the survey.
