The Minister for Planning has severed the proposed Institutional (St Andrews) Zone from the Residential and Main Street DPA. The Minister has released the Institutional (St Andrew’s) Development Plan Amendment (DPA) for public consultation from Thursday 26 September to Wednesday 20 November 2013 For more information click here.
The Council’s Residential and Mainstreet DPA has been with the Minister since July this year. Council awaits for approval for public consultation on the Residential and Mainstreet DPA.
COMMUNITY UPDATE - 19 August 2013
On 11 June 2013 Council endorsed the Draft Residential and Main Street Development Plan Amendment (DPA) to be submitted to the Minister for Planning for approval to commence Statutory Consultation (You can view the Council Agenda here and Minutes here). The DPA remains under consideration by the Department of Planning Transport and Infrastructure and the Minister of Planning.
At this stage, it is anticipated that Council will receive a response in the coming weeks. Council will then commence statutory consultation with the wider community over an eight week period.
