An increase in the residential population in the city is a key policy focus of Council through its Strategic Plans and for the South Australian Government through the 30 Year Plan for Greater Adelaide.
This Draft Policy and Strategy will guide Council action on residential population growth into the future:
The Draft Residential Growth Policy sets out objectives and principles for Council action on residential growth.
The Draft Residential Growth Strategy 2012 - 2016 sets out Council’s proposed approaches to facilitating residential population growth and diverse residential development, including affordable housing, in the City of Adelaide.
