2020 Winter Season (1 April – 30 September 2020) 9 (nine) applications were received.
The main applicants were identified as priority based on their assessment scores; we were able negotiate with the remaining applicants, which allowed us to accommodate eight of the nine applications in some form.
Successful applicants were notified of the outcome of their application. Hire agreements were to be available for ten or twenty weeks/games/races commencing in April 2020. Final agreements were almost in place when all activity was postponed due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. Council will honour these agreements for the remainder of the winter season, once they are able to commence.
2019/20 summer program seven (7) hire agreements were approved
2019 winter program (April to end of September) eight hire agreements and one seasonal licence were approved across the facilities in the park as a result of the consultation. These were mainly cycling groups, Pedal Prix, two school programs and South Australia Cricket Association (SACA), and we also had a new soccer club use the facilities for the first time.
The summer season (October to end of March) has led to two applications, still to be assessed – SACA and the Pashtun Association of SA, so both cricket related. The cycling clubs, soccer club and one school will continue to utilise the facilities over the summer.
