One of the ways that we can ensure certain activities such as outdoor dining, busking, preaching and street trading are carried out in a safe manner is through the issuing of permits and licenses.
We are currently undergoing a review of our Policies and Guidelines in relation to these activities and we invite you to have Your Say about how we can improve the vibrancy and safety of our City.
Your ideas and opinions will help shape a new set of guidelines for how we manage:
• Outdoor Dining including tables, chairs, planter boxes, heaters and barriers on the footpath
• Charity collections
• Busking
• Distribution of literature and free samples
• Street trading and vendors
• Construction and Maintenance works in the public realm
We want to know what your priorities are for the City and how Council can manage the balance between vibrancy and safety for all.
