Consultation has concluded
"For all of you participating in the City of Adelaide Sustainable Coffee Cup Pilot scheme this is an opportunity to have your say on how you think the Pilot is progressing"
Background
We are partnering cafes in the CBD Which are selling takeaway coffees in a Pilot scheme to trial incentive payments to try and reduce the amount of waste generated by takeaway coffee cups.
The Pilot area is bound by Gawler Place, King William Street, Flinders Street, and Grenfell Street.
The Pilot runs until May 2018.
All businesses selling participating in the Pilot scheme are eligible to apply for once-off financial rebates if they agree to:
Offer a discount to customers who bring their own cups and/or
Provide compostable takeaway coffee cups and lids.
Description
As the Pilot approaches the halfway point, we would like to establish what impact the Pilot has made so far, particularly:
Whether more customers are now bringing their own cups
Determine whether the demand for single-use cups is declining
Establish what impact the rebate payments have made on the participating businesses’ ability to offer discounts to customers, and
To obtain any feedback from customers.
To achieve this we respectfully invite you to provide your feedback via the survey below.
