Consultation has concluded

The South Australian Cricket Association have submitted an application for the use of Creswell Gardens, North Park, Southern Car Park and Oval Number 2 in Tarndanya Womma (Park 26) to enable the Vodafone Test Match to take place between Tuesday 24 January and Saturday 28 January 2012.

    Event dates:        Tuesday 24 January 2012 to Saturday 28 January 2012
    Set up times:       Friday 20 January 2012
    Pull down times:  Friday 10 February 2012


    The proposed bump-in commences on Friday 20 January 2012 with bump-out to be completed by Friday 10 February 2012.  It is anticipated that the Vodafone Test Match will attract around 100,000 people over 5 days. Opening hours are proposed from 8.00am to 7.30pm daily with the venue licensed during this time.

    SACA is proposing to set up Creswell Gardens as a family focussed sponsor activation area, with catering outlets, tables, chairs, umbrellas and a TV screen.  The area will incorporate children’s activities such as MiloIn2Cricket, jumpy castle and face painting.  Creswell Gardens will be included in SACA’s liquor licence for the event, but sales outlets will be limited in this area.  Set up commences one day prior to the Test on 23 January 2012 and pull down is completed by 1 February 2012.

    Oval Number 2 will be used as part of the Members’ Area and car parking.  It will include marquees, tables, chairs and catering infrastructure. Oval Number 2 will be included in SACA’s liquor licence for the event. Set up commences on 9 January 2012 and pull down is completed by 10 February 2012.

    The Southern Car Park will be used for car parking and outside broadcast facilities between 20 January 2012 and 2 February 2012.

    Part of North Park will be used as an emergency services compound.
