This consultation has concluded.


Recently we sought input into the development and finalisation of the Adelaide Park Lands Community Land Management Plans (CLMP). Because of the scale of the Park Lands this consultation was conducted in three sections/stages.

Project Outcome

The CLMP has now been endorsed by Council and is finalised. The finalised plans can be accessed here. Note when you visit the website you will see a map of the Park Lands showing all the Parks and Squares so you can see which chapter of the CLMP is relevant to each part of the Park Lands.

  • The Park Lands Community Land Management Plan: Sections 1, 2 & 3

    Given the scale of the Park Lands, the Park Lands Community Land Management Plan (Park Lands CLMP) was divided into three Sections to make it easier to review.

    As a result of this project, the community will be able to clearly understand the management of the Park Lands, which are such an important historical, cultural, social and recreational resource for the people of Adelaide. 

    SECTION 1 is now closed and included the following:

    • Chapter 1: The introductory framework for the Park Lands CLMP as a whole including the planning and legislative context for the project.
    • Chapter 2: Tuttangga (Park 17), Wita Wirra (Park 18) & Pityarrilla (Park 19).
    • Chapter 3: Kurrangga (Park 20).
    • Chapter 4: Walyo Yerta (Park 21).
    • Chapter 5: Minno Wirra (Park 21 W), Wikaparndo Wirra (Park 22) and Wirranendi (Park 23).
    • Chapter 6: Tambawodli (Park 24) and Narnungga (Park 25).

    SECTION 2 is closed and included the following:

    • Chapter 7: Bonython Park / Tulya Woddli.
    • Chapter 8: Piltawodli (Park 1).
    • Chapter 9: Padipadinyilla (Park 2), Kandarilla (park 3), Kangattilla (Park 4) and Ngampa Yerta (Park 5).
    • Chapter 10: Nanto Womma (Park 6), Kuntingga (Park 7) and Barnguttilla (Park 8).
    • Chapter 11: Tidlangga (Park 9), Warnpangga (Park 10) and Tainmundilla (Park 11).

    SECTION 3 is closed and included Chapters 1 & 12 - 16

    • Chapter 1: The introductory framework for the Park Lands CLMP as a whole including the planning and legislative context for the project.
    • Chaper 12: Karrawirra (Park 12), Brougham Gardens/Tandotittingga and Palmer Place/Pangki Pangki.
    • Chapter 13: Tarndanya Womma (Park 26).
    • Chapter 14: Rundle Park / Kadlitpinna and Rymill Park/Mullawirraburka.
    • Chapter 15: Ityamaiitpinna (Park 15) and Victoria Park/Bakkabakkandi.
    • Chapter 16: Victoria Square/Tarndanyangga, Wellington Square, Hurtle Square, Light Square, Hindmarsh Square and Whitmore Square.
