    How long is the consultation period open?

    It is a legal requirement that the consultation period has to be open for a minimum of 21 days. To comply with this requirement the consultation period will open on Monday 5 June 2017 and close at 5pm Friday 30 June 2017.

    A report will be presented to Council mid 2017 if objections to the proposal are received.

    How do I provide my comments during the consultation period?

    There are a number of ways you can provide feedback:

    Submission Form
    The submission form provides an opportunity to provide comments regarding the project/proposal. Please complete the submission form to provide your feedback. Submission forms must include the name and residential address of the respondent, and will be included in a report to Council which will be publicly available.

    Written submissions
    The submission form provides an opportunity for comments regarding the project/proposal to be submitted in writing. All written submissions must be received by 5.00 pm, Friday 30 June 2017 and should be addressed to:

    What will happen to my feedback?

    The information from the public consultation process will assist Council in its decision in granting a lease over the proposed Town Hall Courtyard to a restaurant operator.

    Where required, feedback from the public consultation process will be collated and presented in a report to Council in 2017.

    How do I know my feedback has been received?

    All feedback forms, submissions or correspondence will be acknowledged either by email or in writing so that you know your comments/feedback has been received.
