The selected species is Crepe Myrtle ‘Tuscarora’ (Lagerstroemia indica x fauriei 'Tuscarora') this tree is deciduous and oval shaped with hot pink flowers from late summer. The tree is recommended for planting on urban streets and is widely planted in Adelaide and surrounds.
Will there be any impact to vehicle movements?
Council have undertaken a thorough review of traffic movements along Travers Place and anticipate that there will be no impact on traffic movement.
Could more trees be planted ?
Unfortunately no. Any additional trees will clash with underground services, driveways and existing infrastructure.
