Feedback can be provided on the draft Urban Elements and draft Transportation Asset Management Plans until 9 February 2024. Consultation on the following Asset Management Plans will open in early 2024:

  • Buildings
  • Lighting and Electrical
  • Water Infrastructure
  • Park Lands and Open Space


Help us make our city greener: Express your ideas and feedback on how to make our city greener. Consultation has been extended until 31 January 2024.

Draft Homelessness Strategy: We are seeking feedback on Council's proposed role in homelessness as outlined in the draft Strategy. Consultation has been extended until 19 January 2024.

Draft Housing Strategy: Have your say on the draft Strategy which outlines the City of Adelaide's plan for housing in the city to 2028. Consultation has been extended until 19 January 2024.

Hutt Street Revitalisation: Find out more about how you can be a part of the revitalisation journey of Hutt Street.

Creating a 'greener' city: Let us know what you think about our green infrastructure, which is part of our journey towards being prepared for climate change.


CONSULTATION UPDATES

Draft Strategic Plan 2024-2028 Adopted: Feedback received was collated, considered and presented to the 5 December City Finance and Governance Committee; along with proposed changes to the draft Strategic Plan 2024-2028. The Strategic Plan was adopted by Council on 12 December 2023 and now provides direction for planning and budgeting of projects and services provided to the community. Draft Code of Practice for Access to Council and Committee Meetings and Documents: On 28 November 2023 Council adopted the Code of Practice for Access to Council and Committee Meetings and Documents. There were no significant changes from the draft Code which informed the Public Consultation, however, the Code was updated to include references to the Public Transparency Policy which was also adopted by Council on 28 November 2023. Draft Behavioural Support Policy: On 24 October 2023 Council endorsed the Council Member Behavioural Support Policy. Based on feedback received some amendments were made to the Policy. Further information can be found here.

Melbourne Street - Bus Stop 4 Reinstatement: Community feedback indicates there is strong support for the reinstatement of Bus Stop 4 on Melbourne Street, however there was not a clearly favoured location. Further information can be found here.

Melbourne Street - Proposed Wombat Crossing: The engagement undertaken indicates that there is strong community support for wombat crossings on Melbourne Street for pedestrian safety and accessibility. This is consistent with the community sentiment from the previous engagement undertaken by City of Adelaide within the area. Further information can be found here.

National Heritage Management Plan for the Adelaide Park Lands and City Layout: On 14 November 2023 Council approved the Draft National Heritage Management Plan for the Adelaide Park Lands and City Layout. Feedback from the Federal Government is being collated into the final draft for the Australian Heritage Council approval. On receiving Federal Government endorsement the Management Plan will be enacted for implementation. Further information can be found here.

Adelaide Aquatic Centre Redevelopment: Construction Licence and Lease Agreement (Denise Norton Park / Pardipardinyilla (Park 2)): It is proposed to take the negotiated draft 42-year lease agreement back to Council in the first half of 2024. Further information can be found here.
