Consultation has concluded
The Italian Eatery & The Velo Precinct is seeking to apply for a 9 year 11 month lease over community land, that being, a portion of Victoria Park /Pakapakanthi.
In 2012 Council undertook expressions of interest with the intent to reactivate vacant buildings located in Victoria Park /Pakapakanthi. Applications were assessed against a criteria that focused on activation, community benefit and overall sustainability. This year we commenced with lease negotiations with the successful applicants, The Italian Eatery for the Victoria Park Bookmakers League and Entrance Gates site (referred to as Bookmakers) and The Velo Precinct for the Victoria Park Main Grandstand (Basement).
Before we can approve a lease greater than 5 years over Community Land, we are required to consult with you to gather your comments, thoughts and feedback on this proposal.
