Adelaide pretty much has it all!

Over the last few weeks I have been to two (three) amazing concerts at the Adelaide Town Hall and one in Pilgrim Church. The first, our fabulous Adelaide Symphony Orchestra with the incredibly gifted Australian violinist Grace Clifford. Then last Saturday we went to Pilgrim Church to hear the Adelaide Chamber Singers perform works by Thomas Tallis, directed by Graham Abbott. This choir is truly world class; it's on a par with the Cambridge singers, the Tallis Choir, etc, all those internationally acclaimed choirs. I thought they were better than the Choir of King's College Cambridge, which I also enjoyed at the Town Hall. (But enjoyed the chamber choir more, it was a simply astounding program, glorious singing). Then last night, Lior and the Australian Chamber Orchestra... lovely, (a bit challenging with the soundscapes, didn't think the photography actually added much, I'm a bit classical, but still quite amazing and what talent!) I am a member of a choir who rehearse in the city, at Pulteney College, Kapelle Singers. All of this is so good for the soul. Eat your heart out Sydney, Adelaide has it all!
