Will access to Elder Park be affected during the event?

    Archie’s Clubhouse will not block existing pathways during the event, and the thoroughfare will be maintained for pedestrians and cyclists.


    Will there be a cost to attend the event?

    The event is free apart from Friday and Saturday nights after 9.00pm when an entrance fee will be charged.


    Will the event be noisy?

    There may be a possibility that you will hear event noise depending on where you live. However, the event is required to abide by the City of Adelaide’s Noise Mitigation Standard Operating Procedures.  As part of the event the organiser is required to provide a Noise Management Plan.

    If Council approves the event to proceed residents and stakeholders in surrounding areas will be notified by the event organiser via a mail drop at least two weeks prior to the event. The letter will advise of all details of the event including the opening times and contact information for complaints and queries.


    Where can I find out more about the event?

    Please see Attachment A which describes the event in more detail.  Should the event be approved and closer to the event time, more details will be available at a later date.


    What feedback is Council seeking?

    Council is seeking your feedback regarding the proposed event and whether there is support or otherwise for the event to proceed. Additionally, we are seeking to understand from the community whether there is anything in the event management approach (as per Attachment A) that could be changed to minimise any perceived impacts on the community and surrounding environment and stakeholders.


    What happens to my feedback?

    Council will be provided with the outcomes of this public consultation process to assist in their decision making.


    How do I know my feedback has been received?

    All feedback forms, submissions or correspondence will be acknowledged either by email or in writing so that you know your comments/feedback have been received.
