    Cry Baby Fest is a birthday celebration, street party for Cry Baby Bar. It is proposed to have a live music stage, showcasing local and interstate bands.

    The event is proposed to have a Liquor Licence with food and drink stalls on the street and it is proposed there will be an entry fee to enter the site (approximately $5).

    What is University of SA Graduation Ceremonies?

    Each year The University of South Australia holds three Adelaide based rounds of Graduations (April, September and December) annually. These ceremonies celebrate and formalise the qualification for many South Australian students after years of learning and research and for many, marks the beginning of a formal career. The event is the finalisation of a student’s tertiary journey and where they receive their formal parchment (qualification) in front of their family and friends in a formal ceremony.

ANZAC Day Dawn Service and Commemorative March

    What is the ANZAC Day Dawn Service?

    The Dawn Service is a tradition on ANZAC Day across Australia in country and metropolitan areas across Australia and New Zealand.

    The Adelaide Dawn Service is held at the South Australian National War Memorial on the corner of Kintore Avenue and North Terrace commencing at 6.00am.

    What is the ANZAC Day Commemorative March?

    The ANZAC Day March traditionally commences at 9.30am from North Terrace, Adelaide, from the SA National War Memorial, and turns right onto King William Road. The march concludes at the Cross of Sacrifice in Pennington Gardens, North Adelaide.  Spectators are invited to line both North Terrace and King William Road (between North Terrace and the Adelaide Bridge).

    It is important to note that the ANZAC Day March in Adelaide is a commemorative march and not a parade. Statement of the principles of the Adelaide ANZAC Day March includes information for descendants of deceased former members of Australian, New Zealand and allied/coalition forces.

    Veterans, ex-service personnel, allies and Australian Defence Force units participate in the ANZAC Day March. The event is televised live on ABC Television.

Union Hotel ANZAC Day Street Party: 25 April 2020.

    What is Union Hotel ANZAC Day Street Party?

    The Union Hotel Anzac Day Street Party is a free, post ANZAC Day Dawn Service & March gathering of ex and current service women and men, their family, friends and the general public, which has been held for over 40 years.

    The event is held on Waymouth Street (Between Bentham and Young Streets) incorporating the Union Hotel, between 10:00 am and 10:00pm. There will live performances on the street stage by:

    • Cornsey’s Allstars (Featuring Graham Cornes)
    • The Salt and Pepper Swing Band
    • S.A. Pipes and Drums
    • Mt Barker Pipes and Drums

    The event is proposed to have a Liquor Licence with food and drink stalls on the street, while also raising funds for Legacy Club of Adelaide.

Adelaide Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon

    What is the Adelaide Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon?

    The Adelaide Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon is a non-competitive, community engagement program that assists children between the ages of 7 and 15 to develop self-esteem, encouraging kids to get fit and active while having fun with their friends. The TRYathlon is conducted along the lines of an adult triathlon (swim, ride and run in one event).

Mother's Day Classic

    What is Mother’s Day Classic?

    The Mother’s Day Classic is a fun run / walk to raise funds and awareness for Breast Cancer Research and to provide a fitness activity for participants.  There is a 2.1km walk, a 4.3km walk and a 7.4km walk/run.

Race 3 of the Winter Duathlon Series

    What is Race 3 of the Winter Duathlon Series?

    A duathlon is a two-sport athletic event that consists of running and cycling in three stages (run-bike-run). Race 3 of the Winter Duathlon Series will consist of three races, Duathlon Championships, Enticer, and a Kids Race, followed by presentations at the Red Ochre Grill on War Memorial Drive. This event is also the SA State Duathlon Championships, and a 2021 World Qualification Event.
