EOI period has concluded.
Calling for exciting / innovative business proposals to activate the River Torrens!
Background
The River Torrens has been and continues to be populated by Popeye, Adelaide Paddleboats and Adelaide Gondola. In addition to this commercial activity the River is used seven days a week for Recreational Rowing as well as Regattas. It also hosts regular model power boat races.
In 2015 Council undertook a capacity assessment of the River determining capacity for additional commercial activity at certain times of the week.
In Bonython Park, the river is currently unused.
