Project Information

The City of Adelaide undertook a 3-month cleansing trial, increasing the cleaning in two zones across the city. From 10.00am to 7.00pm, our City Clean Team provided enhanced cleaning services; scrubbing the footpath, cleaning the furniture, removing gum, pressure cleaning, and removing graffiti where required.

The Adelaide Cleansing Trial ended in late October. Thank you for providing feedback on the enhanced cleansing services in the two zones. Feedback is being used to assess the future level of service associated with cleansing, and will be used in the updating of the Cleansing Service Standard which is currently underway.

    We have heard from our community that a clean and well-maintained environment is important for creating a strong sense of community pride. We want our community to enjoy our city and everything the city has to offer. That's why our dedicated City Clean Team hit the streets, increasing the cleaning services we provide; ensuring a positive experience for residents, workers, and tourists.

    We asked for the communities' thoughts on our sparkly and clean streets to help inform the review of our cleaning service standards and future levels of service.
