Consultation has concluded

107 individuals responded to the survey. 88% of respondents were very satisfied with Bonython Park; 10% were neutral in their response while 2% were not satisfied with the park.

Key outcomes

The Council has installed a 'sports box' adjacent to the kiosk, and worked in partnership with the Children's University Australia to design and install the 'Bunyip Trail', an interpretive nature trail, in the northern end of the park. This includes the making and installation of up to 13 signs for the trail and the installation of up to 10 Surface Graphics (Bunyip Footprints) leading to the Bunyip Trail.

The responses from the public will contribute to the planning of any potential projects in the future.

    We want to know how you use the Bonython Park Activity Hub and whether it has made a difference to your level of physical activity and social interaction. The Bonython Park Activity Hub includes the children’s play spaces, kiosk, river, model boat pond and Road Safety Centre. We will use this information to plan for future recreation facilities in the Park Lands that support people to be active in the City.
