No submissions regarding the application for a city works permit were received. The application for the permit was approved by the administration under delegation and the permit granted.

The City of Adelaide (CoA) would like your feedback on an application for a City Works Permit submitted by Palumbo PTY LTD for construction work at 104 – 110 Currie Street that will require the closure of:
Solomon Street between Burnett Street and Rosina Street
One lane in Burnett Street, with access for vehicles being facilitated one way.
These changes are proposed to be in place from the 1 September 2018 through to the 1 December 2021.
Background
Under Division 6 (Control of Work on Roads), Section 223 of The Local Government Act (SA)1999, CoA has a legislative requirement to consult the public if it proposes to grant an authorisation or permit (following receipt of an application for a City Works Permit) for works 'that would result in any part of a road being fenced, enclosed or partitioned so as to impede the passage of traffic to a material degree'.
