Hundreds of walkers and runners moving across the start line City to Bay fun. North Terrace  is closed off to traffic to help stage the fun run.

Project Background and Information

City of Adelaide has received an application from the SA Fun Runs Incorporated to hold the Westpac City to Bay Fun Run 2020 in a section of roads as per Schedule below on Sunday 8 November 2020.

To facilitate this activity, it is proposed that on Sunday 8 November 2020 the following roads will be closed to vehicles:

King William Road, between War Memorial Drive and North Terrace
From 5am to 10.30am
King William Street, between North Terrace and Wright Street (Western carriageway)
From 7.45am to 10am
King William Street, between Wright Street and South Terrace (Western carriageway)
From 6.15am to 10am
King William Street, between North Terrace and South Terrace (Eastern carriageway)
From 8am to 10am
South Terrace and West Terrace along King William Street
From 6.15am to 10am
Morphett Street (Eastern side) between South Terrace and Wright Street.
From 6.15am to 7.15am
Anzac Highway, between West Terrace and Greenhill Road. (Eastern side, southern carriageway only).
From 6am to 10.30am

Background

Under the Local Government Act 1999, the City of Adelaide is required to consult the public before it can grant a permit for an event that requests to use a public road for business purposes, and which will require whole or partial road closure(s) that may impede the passage of traffic to a material degree.
