The City of Adelaide is seeking expressions of interest to lease an existing rowing club building located in Red Gum Park / Karrawirra (Park 12) along the River Torrens / Karrawirra Pari.

Background

The Torrens Lake, the section of the river from the Weir to Frome Street bridge, has a long history of recreational/sporting use and is an ideal destination for a range of water activities including rowing, dragon boating and canoe/kayaking.

The City of Adelaide is seeking expressions of interests to lease an existing rowing club building (Reference: PR44019B) in Red Gum Park / Karrawirra (Park 12) along the River Torrens / Karrawirra Pari.

This EOI has been triggered by the expiration of the current leasing arrangements and it is a requirement of the Adelaide Park Lands Leasing and Licencing Policy and Guidelines that an EOI process be undertaken before the consideration of any new tenure (including the renewal of a lease or licence) in the Park Lands.
