Consultation has concluded.
Project Information
We want to hear from the community about our plans to make improvements on Flinders Street between Pulteney Street and Hutt Street. We are planning to renew and upgrade this area, which includes putting in a new road surface, new kerbs, and new footpaths in certain areas.
Our goal is to make the street safer for pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicles. To help us decide how to proceed, we have created three concept design options. These options offer different ideas for how the street could be improved.
We value the input and feedback from the community, so we would like to hear your thoughts on these plans. Your opinions and ideas will help us make informed decisions about the best way to upgrade Flinders Street.
Background
This project supports Council's 2020-2024 Strategic Plan outcome of ‘Environmental Leadership’ and provides ‘Connected and Accessible’ spaces for the community. We are seeking to prioritise streets to improve city greening and invest in better transport infrastructure by creating city streets that support pedestrians and cyclists.
