Have your say on a permit application to close Holland Street between 7 - 8 November 2020 to hold 'Gather & Graze' by CheeseFest .

Project Information

City of Adelaide has received an application from CHEESEFEST AUSTRALIA PTY LTD to hold Gather & Graze South Australia 2020 on Holland Street, between the entry of the Secure Car Park and the southern end of the street.

The event is being held at The Market Shed on Holland and the adjoining car park, with the proposed road closure of Holland Street connecting the two sites, expanding the event footprint to enable appropriate social distancing for COVID-19 safety purposes.

To facilitate this activity, it is proposed that Holland Street will be closed between the entry of the Secure Car Park and the southern end of the street from:

  • 8.00 am - 11.00 pm, Saturday 7 November 2020, and
  • 8.00 am - 10.00 pm, Sunday 8 November 2020.

To facilitate the road closure, it is proposed that all the on-street parking spaces on the closed section of the roads will be changed to ‘No stopping – Tow-Away’ for the duration of the road closure. The event site will be fenced so pedestrian access will be obscured along the closed road.

Under the Local Government Act 1999, public consultation is required for events which propose to alter the purpose of a road, by using a public road for business purposes.

We would like your feedback on the application to grant a temporary closure of Holland Street for the purpose of the Gather & Graze event taking place between 7-8 November 2020.
