Why are we contacting you?
The City of Adelaide would like to understand how other councils fund the maintenance and renewal of community sports infrastructure and how this infrastructure is typically managed.
We are particularly focused on the community facilities provided for outdoor community sport that are leased or licensed to sport and recreation organisations and educational institutions.
What would we like you to do?
We would appreciate it if you could help us by completing our survey below:
For the purpose of this survey, the following definitions apply:
Community sports buildings include change rooms, social spaces, storage facilities and maintenance facilities that are located on land owned by Council.
Community sports facilities include sports lighting, outdoor sports courts and outdoor playing fields (all playing surfaces) that are located on land owned by Council.
Supportive infrastructure associated with community sports buildings and facilities include car parking, paths, path lighting, signage, landscaping, shelters and amenities that are linked to or part of an outdoor community sports facility that is located on land owned by Council.
Renewal includes an upgrade or replacement of an existing building or facility.
Maintenance includes the general upkeep of buildings and facilities including playing surfaces (eg mowing, irrigation).
How long will it take to complete the survey?
The survey should take approximately 10 - 15 minutes to complete.
Please note: Once you start the survey you must complete it. Incomplete surveys cannot be saved and returned to at a later date.
When do I need to complete this survey by?
