Tell us your level of support for this 2 year Licence to be provided to the Minister for Transport to enable the construction of the New City High School.
Background
The New City High School is going to be constructed on Park Lands that are in the care, control and management of the State Government. Adjacent to this piece of land are Park Lands in the care, control and management of the City of Adelaide and is where the Works Compound is to be located.
The proposed works compound will occupy approximately 10% of Frome Park/Nellie Raminyemmerin and will typically be used for site buildings (e.g. amenities, site offices), storage of plant, machinery and materials and access road and crane access.
Project Information
The draft licence is available for comment and allows the Minister to use the land for certain purposes as long as certain conditions are met, which include:
No advertising
No parking of workers’ vehicles on Park Lands
Tree impacts are to be minimised and trees that are to be retained are protected
