North Adelaide Railway Station: Expression of Interest: Leasing Opportunity

The City of Adelaide is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the leasing and activation of The North Adelaide Railway Station in Possum Park / Pirltawardli (Park 1).

Project Background and Information

The City of Adelaide is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from community groups or commercial businesses who are interested in leasing and operating from the historic North Adelaide Railway Station - see below. .

Located between War Memorial Drive and the Adelaide rail lines, the unique Victorian-styled building is one of only a few original station houses remaining in the country.

More recently the property was being used as a café which ceased operating from this location in 2019 and has remained vacant since then.

Council is now pursing an open market EOI to consider various types of uses to help activate the site and the surrounding Park Lands. The EOI process is triggered as a requirement of the Adelaide Park Lands Leasing and Licencing Policy which calls for an EOI to be undertaken for vacant properties.
