Why is the Red House Vintage applying for a 3+3+3 year lease?

    The Red House Vintage is applying for a 3+3+3 year lease to secure its financial investment in the North Adelaide Railway Station as a State Heritage Listed building and is committed to the activation of Pirltawardli (Park 1) by creating a unique destination in a Park Lands setting.

    Will I still be able to utilise the Railway Station Platform?

    There is no proposed change to the use or access to the platform.

    How will this affect the users of North Adelaide Railway Station?

    It is envisaged that the proposed 3+3+3 year lease will not affect users of Pirltawardli (Park 1). As currently experienced, the community will continue to benefit from the use of the railway station platform, as well as the opportunity to visit and enter the vintage clothing shop/café.

    What changes will be seen?

    The only change that will be experienced in this area is the opening of a vintage clothing store/café from this building.

    There will also be some minor works to the building and landscaping to the external gardens beds.
