Authorised the Chief Executive Officer to finalise the 21 year Park Lands Lease Agreement for Bundey’s Paddock/Tidlangga (Park 9) between Prince Alfred College and the City of Adelaide subject to the lease being laid before both Houses of Parliament and the granting of the lease is not disallowed, with the following changes:
- Remove the 10+11 renewal option from the 21 year lease between Council and Prince Alfred College.
- The insertion of a performance review every 5 years.
- The insertion of a clause into the lease to ensure approved hirers such as women’s and children’s sporting groups will have access to changeroom facilities.
Authorises the Lord Mayor and Chief Executive Officer to affix the Common Seal of the Council to the Park Lands Lease Agreement.
Adopts the Community Land Management Plan Chapter for Bundey’s Paddock/Tidlangga (Park 9).
We are currently working on amending the draft lease agreement in line with the decision of Council before submitting the document before both Houses of Parliament. Once the lease has finished its Parliamentary journey, we will provide another update on the Your Say Webpage. For more information click here to view the 13 July 2021 Council Agenda.
